so we couldn’t use big lights or large frames.
We love the vibe of these new Nike-style commercials — can you tell us more about the concept and the references you and the director had in mind?
The director and I wanted to mix media and camera styles, using the Alexa, high-speed on the Red Raptor, quick zooms, creative camera rigs, and MiniDV. We wanted to stay super light and fast at times and just capture what was happening without having to bring too many people or wait for gear.
