Did you use any lighting on set, or was it all natural light?
We did very minimal lighting for this project. The main lighting was a passive fill and bounce to fill in the shadows a tiny bit, as we were shooting reversal stock which has much less dynamic range and is not very forgiving for over- or underexposure. So fill was used to make sure we had enough exposure on the talent's face to balance the heat of the backlight.

Can I ask how the Arricam ST differs from the LT, and could you explain the reasoning behind choosing 4-perf instead of 3-perf?
The Arricam ST is the studio version of the Arricam product line. The LT was made to be as light as possible for Steadicam and handheld, while the Studio was definitely made to be on a dolly or heavy-duty tripods and cranes. The Studio has...
