Can you explain (and show, if possible) how you managed to shoot from beneath his feet?
We used a large 5mm-thick tempered glass panel that Ian Martínez could safely stand and bounce the ball on. It was supported by a custom-built metal structure and raised slightly on apple boxes, allowing us to fit a 3-axis Lambda head underneath, pointing upwards. Our grip operated the head manually. A remote head would’ve been ideal, but we didn’t have the budget or time for that.
What made you choose that specific lens for this shot? Are you happy with the result?
We were mainly using the Tribe7 Blackwing set, but the rental house in Bogotá only had them starting at 27mm. So, we filled the wider...
