Camera Setup:

🔎 CANON FD and K35 P+S Technik Rehoused - Arri Alura Zoom 18-80mm - VENUS Laowa 9mm f/2.8 Zero-D
Recording Format: We shot RAW with both cameras. RAW 50FPS on the Blackmagic Cam — we recorded onto an external SSD to be able to capture in this format.
Filters: I didn’t use any diffusion filters on the project — just the usual NDs, polarisers, and diopter filters.
How was your experience working with the Blackmagic Micro Studio Camera?
This was my first time using it. The director, Grajper, had recently worked with it and was happy with the results. I ran some tests and was impressed — the image looked great, and its tiny size made it perfect for rigging onto an actor's arm.
Did you encounter any challenges matching it with the Alexa 35 footage?
Surprisingly, not really. Of course, if you’re looking closely, the difference between cameras is visible — but for quick inserts with these hand-rigged shots, I think it blends in well enough. We did a film-out on the project to give...
