We’d love to talk about the ARRI UWZ 9.5–18mm. Is this the first time it’s been featured on Lens Addiction? How did you like the lens, and what are its key characteristics?
(DP) I am a huge fan of the Arri Ultra Wide Zoom. There really isn’t anything else I can think of that has a comparable focal range and image coverage of that lens while also being as technically precise as it is.

Theres basically no distortion even at the widest, it illuminates cleanly and doesn’t fall off in the corners. It covers the Alexa 35 Opengate sensor completely even at 9.5mm. The only downsides to it
