I aimed to get a subtle teal/orange feel
already on set rather than pushing it all in post. -
Lighting: For key light I mainly used tungsten, with HMIs as fill.

Filters used (ND or others): Internal NDs,
but because Alexa’s ND range wasn’t enough to cover every stop, I also used standard FSNDs.
Could you walk us through the camera setup for this project?
I’m a bit of a gadget man. I love to push the equipment to its limits and squeeze out every possible option. That’s why I stay in very close touch with my AC and the rental house to make sure we have the right setup for the day. At the end of the day, you only get that one chance to shoot — there’s no time to leave things unsolved. Any delay could cost us precious time on set, which I’d rather invest in making the shot better.
